Hi Jacob, so sorry to see what happened to those wheels, you seem to really be taking the high road through all of this so kudos for that.

If you want an idea for a new look, the black to bronze fade on these Work 5 spokes looks awesome on black Gs

So have you spoke to the detailer about this? I'd keep them the original color that they were. I liked them as is.

Wheel specs
Work XSA 04C - 20x9 +32 5x114.3 R-Disk FR
Work XSA 04C - 20x10.5 +45 5x114.3 W-Disk RR
http://www.workwheelsusa.com/product...=28&wheel=1018

They were supposed to be Crystal silver, for some reason they had gunmetal on the spokes, i didn't mind. The detailer is out of the equation , that dude has no idea what to do and as far as i can tell. he is scared to face me again.
The guy who powder coats the wheels is saying i can't get a translucent color like that Lambo pics, because it will expose the damage, those colors are added on newly polished wheels, confused on what color, and ill try one wheel place to see what they can do, if its reparable.

I took the car to a local Rim Repair shop ( Rim Pros is their name ), they said it can be done but lots of work is needed, since i have 2-Piece welded wheels, its difficult to get between the gaps, they charge $150 per wheel juts to Re-Polish the spot and $200 per wheel to do the whole wheel in and out (i choose to pay $200 per ), that includes unmounting and mounting plus balance. so far today is the third day its been there, luckily i have another car to drive. i hope they do a good job, the guy who screwed me over is shying away and i don't see him at his spot anymore. i text him and told him how much ill be paying to fix his mess. but he ignored me probably out of fear ill get angry or go after him .

Once the car is done ill post results with everyone here.

Ouch that ended up being one very expensive car wash. I don't know what I'm going to do with my wheels yet. I haven't looked at them since I put my stock wheels on so I don't know.....Good luck man and I hope the wheels look as good as new.

Ouch! That makes it 100 x harder to polish when you have to go between those spokes.

Such a beautiful wheel too.

Damn 200 a wheel.where i live they will poweder coat wheels for 400.and that includes 3 pc wheels taken apart and resealed.word of the wise dont buy work wheels.if you do stick to polished lips.that way you can always make them look new again.and if you curb them .you can fix them 123 with a dremel kit.400 grit then 1500.then 2000. then 0000 wool.then mother's.polish.

I personally ,dont ever buy color rims or chrome.straight polished.otherwise.something happens and its an arm and leg to fix them.besides, polish lips bling.for 800 you probably could of sold your rims threw the 800 on top your sale.BAM.new wheels....my two cents
