Trying to find winter tire set up G37s

Whats up guys,

Im searching around craiglist for a winter tire set up for the OEM 19s on my G37s Anniversary edition.

First, I was wondering if 17s would clear the brembo brake set up?
Would 18s?

Also, I found a nice set of studded tires. But, they are 235/40/r19 all the way around. Will the 235 fit both the front and rear wheels which currently have 225 in the front and 245 in the back?

I also found another set of 19inch Blizzaks. 245/55/r19. That seems a bit too big to me and I almost assume it would rub but what do you think?

Car has stock S suspension.

Thanks!!

I'd run the 235/40s, a narrow winter tire is best if you plan on dealing w/ a lot of snow. The 1/2 stagger on those 19s won't be a problem running the same 235s all around.
AFAIK there are no 17s that will clear the BBK, the barrel diameter won't clear. There's quite a few 18s that will work, check tirerack.com and be sure to enter your model as a SPORT coupe and it will show 18s that clear, I know Enkei and ASA have some, and some OEM Z wheels along w/ newer Infinti G37 Sport sedan wheels work.

I ran Dunlop winter maxx 245/45/19 on stock 19s for the past two winters and will again this year. Been awesome so far and no rubbing even though the dealer claimed they'd rub. People can't believe when they see my car out in PA snow storms. I have rear wheel drive btw.

You could look on the 350Z or 370Z forums - I bought a set of 18 inch Rays from the forum in the UK and they clear the brake calipers OK - and they were pretty cheap as the guy had upgraded his wheels and just wanted to sell off his old ones

Don't forget you need to recalculate the sizes to maintain the correct rolling radius. From memory I got 225 50s for the front and 245 45s for the rear in Michelin Pilot Alpine winter tyres - but it seems sizes in the USA are not always the same as the sizes in the UK
