favorite all-season tires?

Hi guys, I have a '11 g37xS coupe and I think the tires are pretty much done. I'm looking for new ones on tirerack and there's 2 that caught my eye: G-Max AS-03 and Continental ExtremeContact DWS. Does anyone have these and can chime in on their performance? Or is there another all-season tire out there you would recommend? My price range is under $200 per tire.

I'm running a set of the Gmax right now, haven't run the DWS before but I quite like these tires. Good all weather performance (haven't tried snow with them yet, but will have winters on when the snow is sticking around). Good dry performance, quiet and handles the rain quite nicely as well.

Awesome thanks. How long have you been running them and do you know how much tread is left?

I've only got about 5000km on them, it's barely noticeable that there's any change.

I have the GMAX but we just put the DWS on our g35 and they're much quieter than the GMAX. Haven't tried either in snow yet.

But the next time I put tires on the G they will be the Continentials

Do you think the Continentals are worth $120 more total for the G Max's?

Just last week I put on a set of Pirelli P Zero Nero all seasons. I used 255/40/19 for both front/rear on my 2011 G37xS coupe. The car now feels much more planted/stable and with much less road noise. They are on sale for $123 pretty tire right now at Tirerack. Highly recommended!

That's a steal for Pirelli's.... I'm just curious about tire sizes... on tirerack it says our car runs 225/45ZR19, how do you know the pirelli's are compatible?

On your 19x8.5" wheels the 255/40/19s are a standard mount, and the diameter is just 0.22% larger which won't cause any issues w/ your AWD.

Hmm interesting... is there any benefits/cons to the 255's as opposed to the 225?

Larger contact patch means more grip.

I just switched to the continental ExtremeContact DWS on my 20s and they are great. My main concern was wet driving, but these leave me worry free in any weather

When the temps drop around here i'll switch to All-Seasons to keep my summers from chipping. I ran Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3s on my Altima and loved them. I'll be going back to them for my G in a couple of months...
