Wheel balancing issue???

I just got a new set of wheels and tires for my 12 g37xs sedan. Niche misano 19x8.5 with hankook 245 45 19 tires. I had them mounted and balanced at my buddys shop. After putting them on at 70-80 the steering wheel and seats shake/vibrate a bit. He checked them again and all balanced to 0 and none of the wheels are bent at all. So I went to my other buddys shop and had him re balance them. This time they took allot less weight but still same issue (just a bit better). The oem wheels didnt shake or vibrate one bit. Any ideas? It's driving me crazy. Thanks for any help....

You are using hub rings to properly center the wheel on the hub?

I'd also take a wire brush to the hubs and get them cleaned up, doesn't take much debris to get a mount that's slightly off. And you did get new tapered seat lug nuts right?

I did wire brush the hubs really good and also have the tapered seat lugs. I was going to try another set of lugs just to see but I don't think that will help since the ones on there are correct.

Since you got new tires at the same time it could also be tire related. Also there's an ink circle on each tire that should be lined up w/ the wheels dot to minimize balance weights, here's a decent link on that
Performance Tire Mounting | Yokohama Tire Corp.
And if the shop doesn't have a modern Hunter Road Force machine it might be worth searching for a shop that uses one.

Oh I didn't know that. There is a green dot on each tire. I'm not sure on the wheels where the dot would be to align them bit I bet thats the issue? Is that indicator on the wheel noticeable when the tire is already mounted or would the tire have to be dismounted to see that?
