Anyone Go Back to 19s After 20s?
I have the Sport Enkei 19s. These are decent for stock wheels. Pretty light as well.
Of course I want to upgrade my wheels though. I had my heart set on some light-weight 20s because I think 20s look good on the G.
However, I have noticed that a few people here and there have sold their 20s and bought new 19s.
Is it because the ride is worse? They don't feel as smooth? Performance suffered, despite being light-weight?
I feel at this point I don't want performance to suffer at all, in any area. I'm starting to think some light-weight 19s would be my best bet.
All opinions welcome. Thanks.

ride on 20s will be harsher most likely due to the shorter sidewall..
considerin the g is heavy enough as it is.. lighter 19s is the way to go..
lighter 20s id assume would be considerably more expensive than its counterpart..

Especially when lowered, every bump and pothole is bone rattling.
I've had previous vehicles that were lowered with ultra low-pro tires, and the ride was pretty bad over rough terrain roads.
And I feel like even if I find some decent light-weight 20s, it still won't be as good performance wise as some light weight 19s.
I just don't want to invest money in a nice set of 19 inch wheels and later on wish I had gone 20s.....And vice versa.
19s are the best overall setup really. You get the stiffer sidewall and connection to the road that a lower profile tire gives you, but still retain more comfort for all the horrible roads we drive on daily.
19s are still big enough to make a statement if that's something you're after, maybe not quite as bold as the same wheel in a 20, but surely close enough.
Only downside is the cost of 19" tires, especially if you're burning through summer tires every year.
Top quality 18s such as those from Work, Weds, Volk, etc look great as well, what they might lack in diameter they more than make up for in style, quality and class. I would keep those in the mix too. Then you can nix the expensive tires
