I'm probably going to sound a little crazy asking this but I have my reasons.


I bought a set of hyper silver Velgen VMB5 20x9 back in January and put 245/35R20 Toyo Proxes 4 Plus tires on them. The tires have about 3,000 miles on them. The wheels are flawless. They have no curb rash and run straight and true.


I love the wheels. Absolutely love the look of them on my G. I just want a bit more sidewall. So I started thinking what I could do about it. At first I thought I'd just sell my 20s and get 19s of the same mode. Then I ran across another Moonlight White G sedan like mine that had the IPL wheels on it. And I love how it looks.


So I was wondering if it was worth a try at asking if there were any IPL guys that might want to do a swap with me. Problem is, I don't know the value of the IPL wheels. Should I expect an exact swap? Or a swap plus some money? The VMB5s sell for $400 each and the tires were a little under $200 each. Total cost was between $2,300 and $2,400. Are the IPL stock wheels with equivalent life tires valued at or below that range? That would help me know what to expect.


I'd appreciate any input from the community. I just don't want to post a WTT in the classifieds section if I don't know what I am talking about.


So, any help would be greatly appreciated.
