Anyone running 20x10 +40 square w/ 275/30 tires??
Hey Guys,
Im planning on going with this set up which i know the wheel size and offsets will fit, but im unsure if the 275/30 tire will cause any clearance issue specifically in the front. I will be dropped on BC Coils also. Ive seen a couple guys running 10.5in with 275s up front but with some minor fender modifications needed (rolling, etc.) but im looking to avoid all fender modifications at all costs.
Is anyone running this exact set up at all? If so, any outer fender clearance issues, or inside strut/control arm clearance issues?

I've seen the square setups from MylilG and tbulsara running the 10.5 +35 on 275 setups here~

I wish I could see these setups firsthand to get a better feel for how much actual clearance there is at the upper bend of the steering knuckles and the front inner fender edge.
AFAIK MylilG didn't state any fender mods req'd and tbulsara said pulling the fenders were needed so it's obvioulsy going to be VERY close. Going w/ a 10" +40 would bring the wheel in 3-5mm for the offset and another 6mm for the 1/2" narrower rim, so approximately 10mm in from those two 10.5 setups.
Going from those two examples it would appear that the 10+40/275 setup would work but a 265/30 on those wheels might be the better way to go.
FWIW I run 8.5 +40 on 245s up front and going out aprox 19mm just doesn't seem like it would work, and I'm lowered to zero gap. I think rolling the front fender edge would at least be req'd from what I can see to eliminate any rubbing issues.
The big appeal for this setup is 20x10+40 is a very common wheel size, and the concavity in many of those wheels is pretty deep allowing for some nice aggressive looks.
I guess if one of you guys wants to give it a shot you could always buy 2 wheels/tires and try them in the front, if they don't work out you could always use them in back and get a narrower rim of the same model for the front for a staggered setup (preferable if you have a RWD though).
