Sounds like 20mm would work great. I just bought a used set of H&R 20mm from Diego@Vossen. I'm going to test install them on one side to see how it looks. Hopefully I recieve by the weekend and will post some pictures. Depending on the look, I'll buy another set of 20mm or maybe 15 or 25.

Thanks Jethro and ANMVQ. Would you say the fronts and rears are even? Or do the rears stick out more?

I'm thinking either,

15mm on all four
20mm front and 15mm rear
20mm all around
25 front and 20 rear

I have M45 19x8" rims with 47 offset; running 245/45/19 square setup. Was thinking H&R DRM spacers.

Please post with pics and/or suggestions!

I also just lowered my X Sedan on swift springs. I used 20mm H&R spacers all around

Draigon has lots and lots of pictures that prove (to me, at least) that on the G37xS, the AWD Swift Springs and 20mm spacers on 18x7.5" (square) duckfeeet are a perfect setup for people who like the OEM look, but vastly better fitment. For the RWD, staggered cars, it gets a little more complicated. And more so with aftermarket rims.

But for a known quantity, Draigon nailed it.

I would recommend finding a proper offset wheel. I had Spacers installed for a week and could not have them removed quick enough while waiting for my wheels. Never again will I run spacers. I just don't feel safe with them. Plenty others have them, but not for me.

I had a quality brand as well. The car just felt different.

Thanks John!
They're not too bad on 18x8" aftermarket wheels either

I use to feel the same way, especially with the vast majority of spacers made in China/Taiwan. I sourced some made in the USA spacers, and mentally, felt a lot better about it.

I can't tell any difference after the spacer install.

I was behind a Volvo S60 on the highway on monday. He was driving a lot more aggressive than me. Hanging back 50 or so yards, at speeds a little north of 100 with clear sight lines and little traffic. No vibration. The car felt rock solid.

I've pulled the wheels and checked the torque twice in 300 miles. No change.

I feel pretty confident with the spacers installed.

From: Framingham Ma,
The biggest thing with spacers is they are trq right, you check them and the are the correct hub size. If not they will cause a lot of shaking on the HWY. I have been running mine ( Amazon one's) for about 250 miles no issues at all.

Me neither, and like Lego, I'm using 15mm spacer adapters.

They are very close, but I still think that the rear ended up being a little more flush on my car. However, the issue was probably more camber for me at the time, as I had a rear camber kit installed but not a front set, so the front appeared to be tucked in a bit more.

Dragion's picture show it off well, should aid in your decision.

So I test fit the pair of H&R 20mm DRMs to one side of the car, and I was very pleased with the look on the rear. I noticed that the front is still a tiny bit sunken in, so I am thinking to order 25mm for front and put 20mm on the rear. Overall, the spacers made a big difference in look.

Anyone else have trouble tightening the front spacers? As you tighten, the rotor wants to move. How did yall go about getting them torqued in correctly?

Also, I'm considering selling the DRMs that I have and buying the DRS instead. I like the idea that there are less parts involved. Most of what I've read has said DRS would be safer for those reasons; plus, if a lug stud bolt breaks off or the nut gets loose, you can at least see it. Whereas with the DRM, you won't know about stud issues unless you remove the wheel. On the other hand, I've read a few people are worried about extended length lug bolts since they'll be longer and carry more stress. Any thoughts on DRM vs DRS?

Have someone hold down the brake pedal. This will compress the pads and hold the rotor in place.
