Spacers for G37x Sdn w/swifts: What sizes are you running on OEM rims? Pics?

I just got my G37x sedan lowered on swifts for a small drop and now the wheel tuck looks significant. From what I've found on the forum, there are several options for spacer sizes on OEM rims. I was hoping people would post some pics with the spacers and swift spring drop on AWD.

I'm thinking either,

15mm on all four
20mm front and 15mm rear
20mm all around
25 front and 20 rear

I have M45 19x8.5" rims with 47 offset; running 245/40/19 square setup. Was thinking H&R DRM spacers.

Please post with pics and/or suggestions!

The OEM 18" Sport Rims on the AWD are 18x7.5" +45, same as my fronts. Dropped on Swifts, I have 15mm spacers that I'm using just Winter; (because my duckfeet are winter rims.) I could probably get away with 20mm, but that would be on the poke side of flush. As it stands, I'm on the tuck side a few mm... which looks normal to me. Different rims, I know, and a different number of drive wheels, but that's my input about Swifts (albeit RWD) and the factory 18x7.5" rim.

Here's an idea if you really, really want to make the best choices: buy a mixed set of (2) 15mm and (2) 20mm. Figure out which one you like the most front & back, potentially buying only two more of the same (or not), selling yours on ebay or the FS forum if needed.

When mounting spacers on the rotors, do you tighten to the same 80 ftlbs that you would the rims? I assume the rims still use the 80 ftlbs onto the spacers.

You're talking about spacer adapters. Yeah, Use the same torque specs on all 10 lug nuts. 80 to 85 foot-pounds.

Got an answer for the OP, G37Xtreme?

No, no answers for the op, but owning an X model myself with swift in the future, this thread is pertinent to me.
Are spacer adapters NOT what's being discussed here? They differ from spacers, which I assume just use the stock lugs for all mounting?

Can the op just use spacers or are spacer adapters needed?

Thanks for input Rochester. Are you using 15mm DRM or DRS (w/ extended studs)? I've read that some OEM wheels can't handle anything less than 20mm DRM since the original studs would stick out too car beyond the spacer and touch the rim. Does it look like your rear sticks out more than your front? Some folks are doing front 5mm wider than rear to make it look even front and rear.

G37Xtreme, this is what I was talking about. I think you were referencing the same type of spacers; ones that bolt on to original studs and then has new studs to mount tire to spacer.

Apples to oranges my car to yours, but if this helps... these are staggered sport rims with snow tires, dropped on RWD swifts with 15mm spacer adapters (DRM).

I think you'll be fine with 15mm in the front, but might want to go wider on the rear since the wheels are narrower.

You aren't limited to 15 and 20mm either. Motorsports-Tech Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings, and much more! | Motorsport Tech will make spacers in any configuration--16, 17, 18, etc. with a 3-5 day lead time.

I'm running 15mm all around, I think any thicker in the rear would have rubbed, but I could have gone 16 or 17 up front and been more flush.

What do you mean the rear wheels are narrower? I have a square setup. Do you mean that folks that did 5mm thinner spacer in the back did so because they are staggered and already have a wider rear wheel/tire combo?

Do you think you would have had rubbing issues had you not been dropped so much? I see you have coilovers, so you're probably a good .5-1.5" lower than us AWDs with swifts.

My RWD S has, I believe, 1" wider rear wheels. Im not sure how the offset will come into play, but I would think if 15mm got me flush, then 20mm might be right for the AWD. Then again, the AWD drop is less, so your wheels might not have tucked in as much.

I dont have coilovers, I have 370Z/G37 coupe shocks--no rubbing issues. But I think 20 mm would have been too close in the rear for my mental well being.

The OEM 18x8.5" rear sport rims have a +50 offset.

And Lego is right, that the AWD Swifts have a less drop in the rear than the RWD Swifts. Or at least, the gap from tire to fender is more like the front than otherwise.

I ran 20mm and 15mm prior to my drop, that was simply to clear the BBK with the g35 sport sedan staggered wheels. now with an offset of 33 I don't think I need them, I would be inclined to stick with 15mm all around but I also don't mind if it isn't flush.

FWIW, I was running Akata's I picked up at ONEighty. They seem to get frowned on by a lot of folks but I had no issues with them at all. No vibration etc.

I have swift springs and 20mm spacers waiting to be installed this spring. I'm hoping 20mm isn't too aggressive, but IIRC the member "dragion" ran the same setup without issue.

When I had swift's on my X sedan, I ran the OEM wheels with 20mm spacers front and rear. Looked pretty good to me.
