Question G37x coupe wheel fitment

Hi, I have a 2012 g37x coupe and I want to put the 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 in the rear. Im a complete newbie to this and am not sure if this will work with the awd system. And idk what kind of tires would work on this and what the bolt pattern/offset is. (is a squared set-up better?)
Thanks in advance.

You've got to be very careful w/ tire combos on an AWD, you need to have front to rear variance within 1%. That said you can run 235/40/19 front 275/35/20 rear, this will result in a 0.67% variance
You can also run
245/40/19 front 275 or 285/35/20 rear, the 285 is preferred (0.51%) since the rear diameter is slightly larger than the front so over time (since the rears wear faster) the variance will improve over time, the 245/275 combo (-0.52%) will get worse over time since the rear is slightly smaller w/ that set. Your bolt pattern is 5x114.3 (also listed as 5x4.5) the offsets for the wheel sizes you listed should be around +30 front, +35 back give or take a few mm.

A squared setup is much simpler and you have the benefit of being able to do full tire rotations. Here's a thread w/ some nice squared setups

Aren't the rears slightly larger in both the 235/275 & 245/285 combos? Unless my math is wrong. I've gone over this significantly in prep for some wheels in the Spring although I think I'll end up with a square setup. Here's what I have the circumference at:
235/40/19 = 2106.75mm
275/35/19 = 2120.89mm

245/40/19 = 2131.88mm
285/35/19 = 2142.88mm

Yes, ONLY the 245/275 combo that I listed above has the negative variance.

thanks so much for the replies, is the staggered set-up simply for looks or does it have any performance benefits?

Not a lot of performance benefit, the rear will feel a bit more planted w/ wider tires in back, mainly for a more aggressive look though.

Awesome so far im planning to get-
Front- 19x8.5 with 245/40/19 / 30 offset
Rear- 19x9.5 with 285/35/19 / 35 offset

would this cause any type of problems for me in the future such as tires being worn out and needing replacement more or anything of the sort?

Also if I were to get eibach lowering springs would I need a camber kit?

I always recommend camber kits, but at the minimum I'd get the rear arms and toe bolts.
You will encounter quicker wear without any camber kit, and without the ability for a full tire rotation that will also quicken the wear.
If you get the camber kits and get your alignment at or close to factory specs, your tire wear should be normal for the tire you select.

Ask for Luke at THMotorsports, just give him your exact vehicle info and he'll get you the right parts
