VDC/Brake light - new tires

hey guys hope all is well,

I went through a few threads regarding this issue but I am still a little confused.

I have a 2012 G37xS with 225/50R18 Michelin AS sport tires that I put on yesterday at costco. I was driving for awhile and decided to push it hard on a green light and I noticed the brake light came on followed by the VDC light that won't come off until I turn the vehicle off.

a) Could Costco have done something to my vehicle to trigger this issue?
b) I read some people have topped up their brake fluid? Would this be the issue in my case?
c) Is a wheel alignment needed? My dealer mentioned a few months back when I change my tires to get an alignment.
d) Dealership in Toronto quoted me $ 120 for a diagnostic test. Is this covered under my warranty?

Thanks

Start here. It's very simple to look at and see if it's low.
