Looking for reviews from those who have had both.

 

Just curious being in SoCal do you need All Seasons? Summer tires are much better above freezing.

 

This and tire wear.

 

Nice to have everything from the ocean to the snow capped mountains within a reasonable drive (a bit jealous I must admit)
I've heard the Pilot A/S are quite an upgrade from the Dunlops but that's just from reading, not firsthand.

The Mich will provide cold weather ability, better tread life and quieter ride. Dunlops are only good to about 40 deg, wear faster, are louder but will handle aggressive driving better. However, I have the AS3's and they are no slouch in the handling department. For an ultra high performance all season tire they take corners really really well.
