Need a spacer for GTR wheel

The rear looks just fine however the front is kinda too much of inside and doesn't look aggressive. What kinda a spacer can I use and does it need hub centric? Will there be any bad effects with that installation?

You can use bolt on spacers w/ hub centric rings, The H&R, Ichiba, and
B2 Autodesigns all have decent products. If you need a spacer 10mm or less than I'd go H&Rs w/ longer wheel studs included.
If you get the bolt-ons be sure to torque down to 80 ft lbs and recheck torque after 500 miles.

Why do we need to recheck torque? are we suppose to recheck torque every 500 miles or is it one time thing?

I don't run spacers anymore but I just checked them after 500 miles and every time I rotated my tires.

What did you see after each time checking the torque? Did the bolts get lose ????

Not that I can remember, they may have been slightly lower but can't recall. Just a good practice to recheck torque on critical bolts when mating new parts after they have time to set. Same goes for new wheels.

No need to set the torque to 100 ft.lbs. The nuts should be tight around 80-84 ft.lbs. You may damage the threads on the bolts with 100 ft.lbs torque + loctite.

What kind of spacer is it? I have noticed there are 2 kinds, one is called spacer and the other one called adapter which you have to bolt on to the hub. Which one is recommended?

First, do you have a coupe or sedan?

If sedan, get a 20mm to match the rear.

If you have a coupe, I'd recommend considering a 25mm.

Either way, get the soacer that bolts on and has built in studs. Make sure it's made for our cars, which have a 66.1mm hub bore. You'll be fine.

Mine is coupe but do you need to modify anything?. Some said that you have to actually shorten the original studs of your car to make it fit? Not sure if it's right.

and what brand should I go for?

Most wheels have pockets in the mounting flange that allow for the spacer bolts to fit.
As far as brands, H&R, Ichiba, and B2 Autodesigns are good.
