275/30R20 or 255/35r20?

I want to go with a 20x10.5 square setup on my 2008 g35x sedan and can't figure out which tire to go with. I'm going with a 35et so I'm kind of skeptical on which tires would be better to go with that won't rub or give me much problems. Does anyone have pictures of what these tires look like installed? I kind of want to stay away from the stretched look so was leaning towards the 275's. Thanks in advance for any advice.

From what I have seen just from browsing these forums for a long time - most who go with a 20x10.5 square set up usually go with 245 or 255 all around. the front is just too tight to fit anything bigger. depending on the tire shape too, whether it is rounded or more square - some have had rubbing issues with 255 if i recall.

anything over 255 in the front, you will have to use significant negative camber and/or roll & pull fenders (iirc the front fenders aren't rolled, right?)

I haven't rolled any fenders (yet). I definitely don't want to do any excessive camber. I don't want to pull the trigger on tires that won't fit. Was thinking of going with the conti's dws's.

The rear fenders come "rolled" from the factory, iirc. the front do not.

check out the low offset hella flush thread - https://www.myg37.com/forums/wheels-...sh-thread.html

im sure there are a few 20x10.5 square set ups for reference. I'd be willing to bet though noone is wider than 255 all around.

also check the vossen thread - https://www.myg37.com/forums/wheels-...d-post-up.html

edit; direct feedback from someone who has had more wheel set ups on the G in the last few years than most will have in their life... on any car:

Yeah, I talked to tbulsara and he's running 275/25r20's with no problems reported but he does have fenders rolled and pulled with his drop. Just wondered if a 275/30r20 actually made much of a difference as far as rubbing or fitment. I know the 275/30's have a 14mm wider sidewall. Just wonder if it'll make that much of a difference. I kind of wanted to stay with the same speedometer reading. I appreciate the feedback guys!!
