G37x coupe AWD staggered or square set up?

I know everyone has threads on this subject, but im not getting too many definite answers, mostly mixed reviews. I just ordered a set of 20" wheels for my 2011 g37x coupe (awd) and they are staggered (20x9, 20x10.5). Will I have problems with my awd system? or will I be fine? If so, should I just get a square set up? Appreciate the help...

Run 245/35/20 Front and 285/30/20 Rear and you'll be OK assuming your offsets will allow a 285 in back. There's only a few tire combos that will work w/ AWD so you have to be careful there.

Ok thanks. Yea my offsets are 30 in the front and 35 in the rear. Will that be ok?

Should be fine, the rear bumper bracket may need a trim, might shoot a PM to Sylo, he just got done w/ some 295s on his X coupe and had to trim a bit back there.

the 245/285 is the best combo as it is spot on in rolling diameter..
me personally, i went with a square 20x10.5+35 setup, on 275/30/20

I'm fairly certain you've got the most aggressive X sedan on the site, post a couple fresh pics if you can

Thanks man. Yea 245/35/20 in front and 285/30/20 in the rear didnt make sense to me how they would come out to the same tire diameter, but it does. Why is that? I used this website too...Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com

There's a few combos for each wheel size that work well, the 235/35/20 & 275/30/20 is another combo that has almost zero difference front to back. The calculator on this site is simple but works well and is quick.

As far as why it works, the middle number on the sidewall is a % of the treadwidth, so eventually w/ mixing and matching you can find combos that are real close.

Just like blnewt said, I have 245/35/20 on 20x8.5 +35 fronts and 295/30/20 on 20x10 +35 back. I had some rubbing issues that I took care off by cutting the fender liner, trimming the plastic part of the bracket, and rolling the metal part. Did 120 mph with no issues.

Glad it's worked out well, btw did you get that vibration issue fixed?

The vibration is still there but minimal. I got alignment done, re-balanced wheels, and hub rings installed. It could just be feeling the roads more.
