Tires for 19" wheels

Just got 2011 base sedan. Want to put on 19" coupe wheels but what size tire fits best on the sedan with 19's? Thanks, T

Stock size is 225/45/19(fronts) and 245/40/19(rears),

Other members from this forum have put 245/40/19(fronts) and 275/35/19(rears). I'm considering doing this set up as well.

I'll be mounting those sizes on my set of coupe wheels tomorrow. I'll post pics in my build thread tomorrow.

Using the 245F/275R setup is only for the guys who have AWD.

OP could get away using the stock sizes you mentioned above (225F/245R).

I run 245/275 on my summer wheels. I'm not sure where you read that 245/275 is only for the X. OP could get non-staggered coupe wheels and run a square setup as well.

I guess I didn't mean only, however those tire sizes are meant to keep the rotational diameter difference under 1%. This is necessary for the X-drive system.

RWD can really use whatever tire sizes.

Conn is correct. I'm running 245/40/19s and 275/35/19s. I can now direct you to my build thread where I have coupe 19s on my G.

even with RWD you still have to keep rolling % in check or you can screw up the ABS & TC.

I am pretty sure it's within 3% for RWD cars. The closer to stock rolling diameter the better.
