I decided to go Swift. Got those on the way and I also decided to go big on the tires. I'm going to see what kind of deals I can get on camber kits and try and convince my wife on that and just let these mods settle for a while. Thanks for the advice guys. My dad once told me it was better to ask for forgiveness than permission... Maybe I should adopt that philosophy. LOL

I think it's just that she's been sick the last few days. She knows I need some stuff to make the setup work. She's just being difficult about it because she knows how I get on the modding rolls. My Acura had so much done to it, I wish I had more pictures of the thing. I had a lot done, drop, tint, repainted OEMs rims, OEM spoiler, (ebay version with exact paint match) replaced and painted interior parts, modded welcome screen/navigation screen with a new Acura emblem.. the thing was nice, until my back got screwed up January last year. If you saw my spoiler posts it took me 3 days to finish. Usually that would take me a couple hours. I had to take breaks because of the back spasms. She knows I only have 3 real hobbies, cars, video games and my family. I've been to one car meet in the last year! There were 3 today I couldn't make it to because she was sickly and so was I.

I definitely appreciate the advice guys. She'll come around the first time she sees the new rims painted mounted with the drop. Then I can start begging for other mods

Oh I'm in the U.S. Navy if you guys couldn't figure out by my avatar. I'm a submariner and I've been in 12+ years. Sadly this back thing is probably taking me out. Doctors can't fix it and it's only getting worse.

Sounds like you've got quite a bit to do in the next month or so. Sorry to hear about the back, I used to have pretty regular problems w/ Trapezius muscle spasms, really crippling. Good luck w/ that.
Look forward to seeing your progress. BTW what brand & model tires are you going with?
Post a pic of your Acura if you can find one.

Right before the drop and wheel painting. They were a dark grey gunmetal metallic. My Acura friends used to call them factory head turners.

Nice Acura, too bad the lost their mind w/ the front end design after that
Those Conits should work out well, good reviews for A/S treads.

That's what I read as well, seems like many people were happy with them. Gonna call the paint guy now. I'll let you know what he says.

Yeah the front grille has been a point of annoyance for most owners of those years. They finally fixed it in 2013 I think.

People sure do seem to like those Conti DWS tires. But Deelow... an all-season tire in Georgia? Really?

Yeah I thought the same thing. The Fire stones I found were different types of Fire stones which made me nervous about mixing it up. Funny thing is we actually got a little ice/snow this winter.

The summer tires will be better for all but freezing weather and snow traction, so those tires ^^^^ would be better for the majority of your driving.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sports seem to get the best overall reviews for a max performance summer tire, not sure how much more they are but worth a look while you're at it.

On tirerack, a full set of staggered 19" PSS is $1200 + tax & shipping. The rears alone are $320 each. Yeah-h-h-h... I know. Ouch.

Deelow, there quite a difference between good 3-season tires, and 4-season tires that are marketed as "high performance".

Right. I'm also trying to stay under budget while looking at tread wear as well. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 look good for an all season tire with summer like quality.

Another tire to consider which gets nice reviews is the Toyo Proxes T1S, a friend of mine has these on his C6 Vette and has been very happy w/ their performance. Ask for Andrew if you're interested he gives nice deals for us forum members, only problem is you'd have to run 275/35/19s in back, which is still OK diameter wise since they don't stock a 285 (never hurts to ask if that size is available though)~
