An-n-n-n-n-d... I just ordered the wheels and tires from Need4Speed Motorsports. Figure they'll arrive in 2-3 weeks, and then go on the car sometime mid-March, the long-awaited end to winter weather permitting.

PSYCHED!!!

VOSSEN 19" CVT, staggered.

Vossen is shipping a pair of TPMS valve stem adapters with the front rims for anyone who orders their 19" CV3 or CVT for a car with the Akebono BBK.

Growing old is mandatory... But growing up is optional.

Aggressive choice. Interested to see it all together. Good Luck.

Awesome news John, when you get them please shoot a pic or two of those TPMS adapters, I'm still unclear about the fitment issue they've caused

IDK, man. Asking me to take pictures for the forum is like asking me to breath.

Will do, Newt.

What do you guys think of these WORK RS Type lug-nuts in Bronze against the machined finish of the Vossen, on a Moonlight White Sedan w/Stone interior?

It's not all in-your-face blingy, like I was thinking with gold lug nuts, but still with a little contrast, and a clean closed-top design. (I'm starting to pull away from liking the open-ended nuts.)

Oh, and they're only 1.0 oz each of forged aluminum. That's damn light. Compared to the OEM lug nuts, that's a 1/2 pound per corner. Which at the end of the day means absolutely nothing, particularly in the context of adding 2 pounds per corner with these Vossens... but it still sounds pretty cool saying you shaved a 1/2 pound per wheel buying forged aluminum lug nuts.

Now you'll just have to match the engine cover to your new lugs

If you're familiar with the long winter we've been having in the northeast and elsewhere this year, then you know why these rims are still not on the car. But it's looking like it should be OK to do this in a week or less. Knock on wood.

Pretty frustrating.

Looking forward to seeing it all come together John. I keep hearing patience is a virtue, I suppose that's true. We're back in the 30s at night here too, no snow but not what I've come to expect from the mid-south springtime.
