Picked up a '12 G37, damaged rims and gash in tire. Advice please.

i thought one of the posts above brought up a good point…if all 4 wheels are damaged i wonder if rather than hand washing before you took delivery they took it through one of those automated car washes that pull your car through and the rims got scraped on the guide rails? not sure if that would scrape all 4 and gouge a tire, but a friend of mine scratched up one of the wheels on his G pretty bad doing the same thing.
that would at least explain how you didn't notice it on your initial inspection.

Its still the buyer's responsibility to make sure everything is right before leaving. If the car was too dirty to properly inspect, then he should've told the dealer to clean it before he drove it off the lot. For the most part, dealers are shady as hell. That's why you have to be hypervigilant when inspecting the car
