Opinions on Traklite Wheels

Found these cool looking rims. Traklite Angle

Are these any good?
How do you think it will look on a white g37s sedan?

Planning to stay on 18"

Looks OK, sporty design but not too aggressive. I like that the spokes run to the very outer edge of the rim, so 18s won't look tiny.

BUT I think in order to make them look great in 18" you should consider fairly aggressive sizing (width and offset) if you're trying to make them look well executed (IMO)

Top ones would look nice on a white (IMO the gold or bronze looks right on white). Not a big fan of the multi bolt hole setup but if the price is right and the quality is decent they should go well.

can you help me with that? They are available in 18x8+35 and 18x9+20 and 18x9+40.

What is good aggressive setup? Im bad with these wheel sizing stuff.

Fairly lightweight wheels. 19.9lbs for 18x9 is pretty good. 19lbs for 18x8...sweet.

I also like the looks - spokes that go to edge of rim gives it the look of a larger wheel.

But - I am also not a fan of the multi-bolt hole approach...maybe that is how they are saving weight?

Here's a good calculator for figuring out offsets and the best tire sizes for the type setup you're after.
https://www.myg37.com/forums/tire_rim_calculator.php
Use your stock rims as a baseline and go from there. If you have an S sedan you should be running a staggered stock setup.
Here's another good link for OEM wheel specs
G35/G37 OEM wheel specifications & after-market wheel offsets : G35 and G37 Suspension, Brakes, Wheels and Tires

I'd go w/ any of the offsets you listed except the +20 (those are a better fit for a coupe). If you want to go staggered you could run the 18x8 +35 in front w/ a 245/45/18 and the 18x9 +40 w/ a 275/40/18 rear, this will keep your F&R diameters real close and both diameters close to your stock tire diameter.
Beware, if your S is 2009 to current you must verify that they'll clear the big Akebono brake calipers. Most 18s won't clear the big brakes
Here's the templates that you may be able to send to the seller if they're not sure they'll clear

what is that?
Do you know stock 2011 S sedan wheel size and offsets?
I found this video of some 18x9 +20 on an Evo X

Why do you say +20 are better for coupe?
too aggresive?

The link I posted in my previous post list sizes and offsets, I think your stock offsets are +45 to +50. You can run +20 but it will be right at your fender edge (30mm further out from where you are right now), especially if you're not lowered.
Here's the specs
2007-2008 18" sport wheels
Front: 18x7.5 +45mm offset (appx 23.7lbs)
Rear: 18x8.5 +50mm offset (appx 22.4lbs)

got it.

So if I go.. (assuming it clears big brakes)
front: 18x8 +35
rear:18x9 +40

it says for both front and rear that:

Inner Clearance:
3.65mm more
Outer Position:
extend by 16.35mm

Is that too much?

Assuming they clear the calipers those offsets & tire sizes I recommended will be fine.

ok thanks.
I sent email asking if they would clear big brake calipers.

Then I will do some more research and might buy new rims for Christmas

I don't have first hand experience w a/m wheels with my G (yet), and haven't done much research yet, BUT I think the sizing on the rims in the link below is near perfect

Basically 10" wide rim with +25 offset gives the wheel at a very sporty fit inside the wheel well. If this is a look you're after, then maybe try to get as close to those specs as you can (albeit, the post uses a 19" wheel)

The sizing on those rims in near perfect if you're wanting to stretch a 235 wide tire on a 10" rim, those tires are meant for 8" rims. But it is a very aggressive look.

^true, on my last car I put 245 tires on 8.5" rim, but they were way too "meaty" to me (I'd say 225 is best matched to an 8" rim, but there's no "right" answer, just IMO). So yes, I'd imagine stretching the tire that much may not match everyone's interest
