tire adive for '11 sport vert

Time for new tires for my vert. I'm in south Florida now, so no more canyons or any corners other than freeway ramps.

Anyone have any experience with either the Bridgestone S04 pole position or the RE760? Tire rack has the so4's for $716 and $770 for the 760's. I'd prefer something with more tread life than the re50's and less noisy.

Thanks

For Florida? Michelin Super Sports. Quite and grippy.

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of staying away from michelín this time, I barely got 15k miles out of the oem pilot sports on my 05 g35 coupe. They were insanely noisy after 5000 miles too. I'm right at 24k miles and the re50s are basically slicks now, the vert seems to be a little harder on tires than my 08 coupe was.

I couldn't find the 45k mile warranty, all I saw was a 30k mile that got halved if you run a staggered setup.

Half life for a staggered setup is considered normal from the different tire warranty's I've looked into. Here is the link for the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's:

I tried to find the a/s3's locally to no avail. Prices were all over the map and 1-2+ weeks for delivery. I wound up getting the re760's from tires plus, $896 out the door installed. So far around a 500 miles on them and they seem good. Took the car in the day after getting the tires for the axle clink and a top adjustment, feels like new again.

NEVER! I always order online (Discount Tire, Tire Rack or Tread Depot) and have them shipped to my car shop and installed there. MUCH cheaper and I get a full selection of whatever I want.

I have a couple of questions...

1) Regarding the Michelin AS3's...has anyone else but Bluecoupe experienced a lot of noise? I have the 19"'s on my vert and want as quiet as a tire as possible.
2) This is the first time that I had different size tires on the front than on the back. Are any of these tire suggestions "directional" tires? If so, how do they rotate the tires?

Sorry if these are dumb questions...just bought my vert last week...

I have been using the Michelin AS3's for 2 months and they are slightly more quiet than the stock Bridgestones. Handling/grip/road feel are all miles ahead of the stock Bridgestones. I hear the General G-Max AS-03 handle reasonably well with less noise than other high performance tires, but the Handling/grip/road feel aren't up to the Michelin AS3's standards.
