Agreed. On a black car with matte black rims, leave the big calipers silver.

Love the Vossen VVS CV3. Not so much in matte black, but the rims themselves are a fantastic design, IMO.

Looks sexy, the wheels really seal the deal.

I'd recommend blacking out the window trim.

Appreciate the compliments and yea that is next on my list...that damn window trim. Hard trying to do business from Afghanistan when my dad is busy with his own life as it is. I'll just vinyl wrap it myself when I get back home...

Oh God DON'T get a Camero. Sounds good on paper, kinda looks good to the eye but actual driving sucks. Its very heavy! I worked on a couple and at the end of the day I had more fun driving my TT-350Z home than the C5/C6 Vettes and Camaros. Now the CTS-V... Different story!

Oh I was in Kuwait in '00, '07-'08, Iraq in '06, Afghan '10, And have been back working in Iraq since Dec '10.

Exactly that, Robert. Since first seeing the prototype, the Camaro SS was slated to be my next car. Call it a mid-life crisis car, don't care... wanted that Camaro so bad I was dreaming about it. My youth was all about the 2nd and 3rd Gen Firebird and Trans Am, so this car spoke to me with huge nostalgia.

Then in 2009 I sat in the new SS at the Toronto Auto-Show, and all those ambitions went out the window. The car was so cheap, and a total ergonomic fail. But it still looked awesome on paper, so over the next few months I thought maybe, just maybe, if I test drive that throwback muscle car. So when the car was available on showroom floors later that Spring, I drove the SS 6MT. Sadly, predictably, whatever I was trying to convince myself was desirable, wasn't any more. It was over.

Sure, it's fast. But so is falling off a cliff.

I enlisted into the USAF in '97, left in '07. Been contracting ever since.

LOL Yeap. And you drove a stock SS!! I've driven cammed, Cam/heads, S/C etc SS's... And even though they were making 100-200+whp more than my Z, I had more "fun" driving my boosted Z. Feel fun for the 1/4 mile going straight, after that... blah.
