Suggestions on Tire Size on 19's?
The second number is the aspect ratio. That is a percentage of the width. To get the sidewall height multiply the width by the aspect ratio. These tires have nearly identical sidewall height. You still need to watch out for potholes with either tire.
275 times .35 = 96.25
245 times .40 = 98
the difference is 1.75 mm which is .069 inch.

Just wanted to update everyone. I ordered tires from Tirebuyer and bought Conti DWS 245-40-19 and 275-25-19 for the rears. For my sedan. I am not lowered, but have plans in a few months since the wheels and tire setup was a grip already. I plan just to do a swift spring drop and possibly aftermarket struts.
