Also what color do you think would look good , I'm thinking the machined silver maybe ...

My only mod so far is tinted windows which added 91rwhp ....

I'm not a big vossen fan, IMHO there's better looking rims out there for the $$$.

But it's your car and our opinion doesn't really matter. If you think it looks good, go for it.

I think the CV4's are busy, and would be difficult to clean properly because of the narrow, split 10-spokes.

The CV3's and the CV7's, on the other hand... totally digging those two models in the Vossen lineup.

CV3s FTW, aggressive but very nice look on the Gs.

Please no Vossens. They are so overplayed and expensive for low pressure cast. If you have your mind set on them I would suggest V3 or V7.

That's the tough thing, so many choices, so many different looks. I wanted something newer to the market that I haven't seen on any Gs so I went w/ Nutek Bavaria BC5 Bavaria BC5 - 20" concave wheels

Here's another hot looking wheel, several finishes and check the gallery photos on the bottom, look sick on that Z IMO

I'm liking these...I did a quick google on them....look to be @$1,100 each. Could not find the exact weight...speculation points to @27-28lbs. Although they are gorgeous wheels...they are a bit heavy for me (assuming that weight is close to reality).

Overplayed?

Yeah, where I live it seems every car has VOSSEN rims. They're on just about every single G and BMW at the office park. And this neighborhood fad of putting VOLK rims on your minivan, that's got to stop.

It's funny how the dynamics of the forum change from month to month and year to year.

At one point, not long ago, this forum was abuzz about Vossen wheels and now many people are shying away from them for whatever reason (over-played, over-priced, over-weight, etc).

I loved the look of the CV1's in matte black on my car. LOVED IT. It looked great and I got a lot of compliments. In the end, it was the weight that made me switch.

I think Charles @ B2 Auto designs has them (the 19s) for $1099 a set, 20s in the $1300 range. Only problem is the 20s aren't available in sedan offsets unless you're going stretched.

I would say your weight estimate is pretty close, somewhere around 26-27lbs for the 8-9" wides and close to 30 for the 10-10.5". Similar to the oem wheels weights (for the same width rim).
My Nutek 8.5" & 10"x20s are 27 and 30 lbs, just got back from a 600 mile road trip and my mpg was almost the same (and this is with 295s in the rear).

True^ look how chrome is now officially starting to go the way of disco, bell bottoms, etc. (showing my age).
At least we all win when there's so much variety to choose from, and have a nice looking vehicle to put them on
