I've always liked those wheels, really a nice look IMO. Those are conservative offsets for a coupe but you'll have no problems at all w/ the fit and if you lower the vehicle you can always add spacers.

anybody here with 10.5" wide wheel and 265/35 tire size combo? I'm looking for a fat tire with a little stretch. Just want to see how it looks.

Wrong thread. A 265 on a 10.5 wide is not fat at all. On a 9 or 9.5 yes.

I have a 10.5" with a falken (run narrow) 275 on it and that has a little bit of a stretch. Still a noticeable stretch because it gives me the clearance I need but still perfectly functional as I canyon run all the time. Let me know, ill post up a pic if you're interested in that.

265/35 tire IS fat IMO. It's not wide, but it's fat / thick.

No. While a 265/35 is 92.75mm (3.57") tall, on a 10.5", you're on 1.7mm wider than the rim. You're stretching the 265 on a 10.5" wheel. I run a 265/30 on my Z's front 19x9.5 wheel.

This thread isn't about tall tires. It's about fat (wide) not stretch tires.

For comparo: 285 on a 10.5" wheel is 18.3mm wider (11.2" total width) than the rim. And a 285 is the minimum for a rear tire for this thread.

Not 275/35 but this is 275/30 but hopefully it helps you imagine the type of stretch you would get with a narrow style (Falken 452/453) - 275 tire on a 10.5" rim





I will soon be able to be a part of this thread because im almost done smoking out these 275's and already have 285's sitting in the garage ready to go. Hopefully they wont give me any fender clearance issues when I slap them on.

Hot looking setup TStar Looks like you have just enough room to slip 285s in there, looks like you have about 5.5mm of room back there so that half millimeter will just get you in BTW, what offset are you running in back?

Thanks blnewt ... The net rear offset is +42 (3mm spacers)

And I have my fingers crossed that it will fit, it is definitely going to be a close call. I will post up a picture either way because they are going on one way or another . I just hope that the 285's don't throw the balance of the car off with the addition of more grip in the rear. I finally have the car exactly how I like it with great corner grip but also with the benefits of excellent mid-drift control capability.

Need some advice guys.

I'm looking at the Work Gnosis CV201 full reverse wheels. Specs i'm looking at are below. Let me know your thoughts! I didn't want to have to get a camber kit. I also can't decide on the lip finish. Polished or machined??? I'm going with the matte silver for the spokes. At the same time i will be throwing on a set of eibach springs. My ride is liquid platinum. Tires will be Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Front: 19x9.0 + 32 - 245/35
Rear: 19x10.5 + 36 - 285/30

I would go with a polished lip. Eibach springs are a good option, very medium sized drop and you wont need a camber kit.

As far as wheel fitment, your fronts are perfect at those specs, however, your rear wheel fitment is going to be a bit tough at a +36 offset. You might need a minor/mediocre fender pull to make it fit, especially with 285 width Michelin PSS's since those run pretty wide.

I agree. A +36 is very aggressive for a sedan. For reference I run a +45 w/ 285/30.

No spacers will be needed. Go back a couple pages and you'll find pictures of my sedan with its setup. Personally I found the 10.5 +45 a perfect fitment for the rear.
