Warranty new tires g37x coupe?
Warranty new tires g37x coupe?
I recently bought a used 2009 g37 coupe. I checked the remaining tread life on my tires and there isn't much left.
If I go to the dealer and ask for new tires, will warranty cover it?

New cars come with a factory defect limited warranty on tires. Used cars do not. If a dealership extended you some sort of used car warranty on them (not likely on tires) you can check with them, but no the bumper to bumper warranty don't cover tires as it' is a wear item as Modme said.

You should have mentioned it when you were negotiating buying the car. No warranty will cover tire wear...some warranties may cover "road hazard" on tires; maybe...but that does not cover wear.
I bought a seperate warranty that covers the tires, rims and glass in the car. Tires are pro-rated just like at a tire shop or replaced free from road damage.
The thing is I bought this additional warranty on the IPL mainly because of the outragous cost of the rims (covers scrapes etc). But if you didn't buy that type of warranty a bumper to bumper does not cover tires.

I highly doubt that it will cover tires, bro. Think really hard about that. Exactly what didn't go as expected with your tires that they need to be "covered"?
HOWEVER
It can't hurt to ask them, LOL. I was just in a situation where I thought, "I have nothing to lose by asking" and it actually worked in my favor. Good luck!
