Help me choose! 19" G37S Coupe wheels or 370z 19" Ray's for my Sedan?!?

Hi everyone, currently I have a set of 08-10 G37S coupe 19's on my Sedan, I love the look of it, but I was also lucky enough to acquire some 370Z Ray's 19's through a trade. Right now i'm debating between which setup to run. In order for me to run the Z wheels I'd need to get wider tires. From your experiences, which look should I go with. I've seen pics of the Z wheels on sedan and I just can't decide!

Whichever setup I go with will be PERMANENT, as i plan on selling one of the sets. Right now i'm leaning on keeping my G37S wheels, but your input will help!

Both are nice on the sedan but IMO 370z FTW (by a narrow margin)

Copied from Nissan Forums and Infiniti Forums - NICOclub.com
Here is a sedan w/370 z wheels. Specs on the 370z wheels are:

front - 19x9, +47 offset
rear - 19x10, +30 offset

He is running a 20mm spacer on the front so the offset is essentially a 27mm.

The rear tires stick out because they have 295/40 tires. 275/35 would be perfect.

Damn you just made this decision a lot harder! No doubt the five spokes give the car the sporty look it deserves. But the coupe wheels give it a luxury look it deserves as well. Only reason why I've been leaning on keeping my coupe wheels on is because I won't have to buy new tires but you may have convinced me! Btw how do you like the topspeed exhaust? I've been thinking about making the jump but the tips look a bit too large for the car. Care to share any pics?

Extremely happy w/ the TopSpeed Exhaust, best $400 I've spent. Starting at post #64 are some pics & some sound clips later in the thread.

I think the tips look perfect for an aggressive look, and if you use the 370z wheels that would be a great match IMO.

Wow. I think I'll be picking up a topspeed. It looks better than I thought and sounds really nice. My friend has it in an e46 m3 and it is just way too loud and annoying. But this one looks and sounds top notch. You, my friend, need to stop making me spend my hard earned money.

Pros and cons to the 370z wheels:

Pros: Rays Forged wheels, Rays makes a strong forged wheel, they will take a lot of punishment, and weight 6-7lb less than the g37 19 coupe wheels which are cast aluminum and made by enkei. This alone makes these two very different wheels. Also the 370z wheels run wider by and inch front and back.

G37 Coupe Wheels: 19x8,19x9
370z Wheels: 19x9,19x10

So you can instantly upgrade from 275 rear max width to 295 rear max width, but you won't clear 295s on the 370z wheels on the sedan, and this is where the cons start.

Cons: With the 370z wheels you have to drop the rear quite a bit, and run a lot of negative camber to correct the offset in the rear, and in the front you'll have to space it out 20mm to correct the front offset to make the wheels look proper on the g sedan. Been there, done that.

In the end the 370z wheels don't look too good on the sedan, its too long and flowing for the jagged 370z wheels.

My vote = G37 wheels, even if you like the styling of the 370z wheels, tough to make them fit.

That truly changes everything, hmm...i thought they would bolt right on given that you run correct tire sizes. I REALLY don't want to buy some expensive tires + hubcentric spacers again since I just replaced the ones on my coupe wheels less than a month ago. I thought I'd only have to get new rears.

If anyone has an offer for the Z wheels PM me i'm in SoCal.

My neighbor has a set of 19" 370Z staggered wheels (pictured above; good condition) with 70% tread left. He is looking to get rid of them or trade for stock 350/370 wheels.

PM me if interested.

I personally like the G37 coupe wheels on the sedan because they give it the luxury and classic look.

The Z wheels belong to the Z

Don't jack my thread to sell your neighbors wheels. Go to the classifieds buddy.

Sorry, I didn't read the entire thread and didn't know you were selling yours too. My apologies.
