Is it normal to have rear as 98Y and front as 96Y (I might have it vice-versa)

Update to my first question: https://www.myg37.com/forums/brakes-...port-a-s3.html

I think I will go with the A/S 3 after skimming that thread
I just bought a staggered set of A/S 3 at Discount Tire OTD for 900. I would recommend these as an overall great tire. If you want strictly performance go with PSS, but they will wear more quickly. I think mine have 45k warranty. You will not be disappointed if you go with the A/S 3.

Does anyone have any leads on where to buy the rear A/S 3's? I have tried every tire retailer I can think of, and all say they do not have them. Specifically, I'm looking for 2 A/S 3 tires with a size of 245 40 19 98Y - XL. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Otherwise, I'll probably have to go with the Kumho Ecsta LX Platinum since it's in stock, and I need to replace my stock before snow hits Ohio!

Shoot a PM to Neal@Tirerack should be able to locate some or at least tell you a lead time.

I was considering the Bridgestone Potneza RE050a RFT's. With no spare I thought they would be a good choice. I have IPL wheels and wanted to run 275's in rear and 245's in front. Will I take a hit on fuel economy?

So I took the advice and went with the A/S 3. About a year and a half later and only 20K I need to replace the front and back have little life left. Costco said they would give me 5 k of warranty on front which amounts to probably $20 - They said that on cars that have staggered tires such as the G37 the manufacturer cuts the price in half. Of course they want me to replace all 4 at once and then apply $70 coupon.

I was reading on other forums about heavy edge wear on these tires. Debating if the MXM4 would be any better as Costco carries them too. Though then again - hoping to sell my car within 6 months so tread life may not matter much.

Anyone know about Continental DWS06 ? DiscountTire suggested them for my G37s (19") but they never come up online when search by model, so I can't compare prices.

I know this thread is old but Consumer Reports liked them and rated them 2 points behind the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ and tied with the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus. Highs: Tenacious grip and handling on cleared roads. Lows: Fair snow traction. Best for areas with modest winter weather conditions.
