dont' ruin them. get them powder coated if you have the means. it will come out better.

however, i would imagine that plastidip isn't too durable when it comes to rims.

buddy of mine did this on his s10. He drives it off road and stuff. stuff hold up great. 6 mo later and not a scratch. plus if you want you can just peel it off. now that they have a hi-gloss clear Im gonna do it.

I have it on mine, its been around a month and i drive really rough. nothing happens. My friend had them on his civic si for a year and his sister had them on her z for 2 years, still no chipping, just make sure you clean them really good before you put them on and dont use a cleaner, use water... if your rims arent dirty before you put them on, there will be no chipping..

its a great way to see how your rims will look... if you dont like it, take it off, if you like it and want to go with something better, take them off and powdercoat them.

i was in the same boat as you. i plasti dipped mine and all is good for the first couple months. then it starts to fade due to all the brake dust and all that crap. i decided to clear coat them thinking it would give me the "glossy" appearance. same thing, fine for a few weeks and now its back to the faded black that looks incredibly bad. powder coat them and do em right the first time. I'm getting mine done this week
