I'm interested in getting these tires, but I looked at the price for 245/275 sizes and I'm looking at a total of around $1400, and about $1600 with certificates for repair/replace if damaged. Is this around what everyone is paying for these? Would they be worth the $1600? I'm trying justify the prices to myself. I do care about traction because I like to go to the drag strip every once in a while.

Paid $1185 M&B out the door, and that was with an alignment.

But the place I went to locally matched the price for the tired found on tirerack.com

Might wanna pull the match card ricbel.

Now...idk if these tires would be the best choice for the "drag strip".

That price sounds pretty close. Yes, they are worth every penny IMO. The price was hard to swallow for me too, but having gotten them I have no reservation about paying it again next time around.

If you are talking about those widths in 20", Tire Rack has them for $1282 + shipping. Currently there's also a $70 mail in rebate from Michelin on a set of 4.

I've had the Bridgestones, Nankangs, and put the Michelin's Pilot Super Sports on in January. Best tires I have had, hands down. Got the road hazard warranty with them as well.

I'm in the market for new rims so they are going up for sale today. I will post pics later.

Its been about 10,000 miles and so far Im still thrilled with these. The only change I would make is my initial observation of these tires being slightly noisier than stock was incorrect. I drove a G37S with the stockies then my car back to back and the PSS are definitely quieter with less road noise. I dont know if the initial observation was related to break-in or if I was just driving on cement or noisier roads for the initial review.

Other than this change, Im thrilled with these tires and cant find anything wrong with them. After 10,000 miles, I still have plenty of tread left with a lot of aggressive driving with these tires. Hands down the best summer tires I have ever used.

Had them on two different cars and the super sports are amazing! Best tire if you can afford to spend the extra... cant go wrong with these.

Just had these tires put on last week. Definitely worth the money and make driving the G37 much more enjoyable
