tire rotation

Depends on your tires though...some have an "outside"...like our stockies...in that case you can't remove and put on the other side.

local infiniti dealer claims they rotate the original bridgestones on my 09 G37S. Said they are not directional tires and go side to side. Charge $59 to rotate and balance.

Why do people go to the dealership to get their tires rotated?!! Get a jack - it takes all of 20 minutes.

Because you have to bend down, get dirty. Some fear they will damage something.

I think when some people say they need their tired rotated they also mean balancing them too?

Some balance at every rotation. Unless I feel a vibration in the steering wheel, I may balance once every year or even every other year, or longer.
