If you decide that you must have black wheels, then at least get black wheels with a polished lip. All black wheels on a black car just never looks good, IMO. Sometimes a polished lip is all it takes to make it look good.
Gunmetal wheels with a polished lip would look great on a black car.

Just keep what you have and ride the brakes hard. Once you build up as much brake dust as 90% of the Benz's and Volvo's ride around with on their unwashed wheels, you too will have a set of black rims - at no cost to you. (Except maybe new brake pads every 10k miles or so.)
