Pics: 19-Inch Gunmetal Sport Rims on my G37x Coupe

I picked up a used set of 19-inch sport rims and had them powdercoated gunmetal at a local shop. I'm very pleased with how they turned out. I think they look great with the Moonlight White.

I like that.. I am planning on doing the same, if not a little darker. Poor man's alternative to buying new rims and tires!

The total tab was $400. That included the sand blasting and powdercoating. The cool thing about the process is that the sand blasting removes any scratches and scuffs on the rims. So, my rims look brand new.

Those look great! I'm planning on getting the same color done on my stockie's when I get my new rims in the mail soon. Is the color just plain "gunmetal" or does it have a code that goes along with it?

I like it!

looks like the same color combo like in my friends IS350 F-Sport.

Now a drop should be in order.

The shop I went to for the powdercoating didn't offer "gunmetal." So, I spent a lot of time on-line searching for the right color. The powder used on my rims is from Prism Powder Coatings. The color is called "Gun Metal" and the color code is PS-0976-G. This is an exterior powder, perfect for rims. The powder has a nice semi-gloss to it, so no clearcoat is needed.
