i will buy a balance tomorow need one anyway,,, and weight the Cv1 20" rears with 275/30 that are sittting in my garage,,, and the stock 19" rear with 245/40 ,,,,will see the diff

I think it'll be more than that. Probable around 6-7 pounds. Wouldn't be surprised if it was more either...

Yurp, it might be depending on the set up. Stretched tires vs normal set up.

It's worked on 2 latest generation G sedans. Past 4.08 owners seem to have had problems with the cruise control function. The two 2010+ owners with autos that have done new rear differentials with 4.08 gears have both reported functional cruise controls. Something probably was changed? Go for it.

By the way, you could do a pulley set? Lighter accessory pulley wheel plus a lighter crank pulley = less rotational mass.

I was just telling SRG his Vossens were making him slow. I sold my 85s pretty quickly because of the weight. My F14s feel much lighter, have the same tires, and I still feel a significant difference during turns. I also felt like the stock ones were lighter.

Stock wheels are designed to give a good balance between weight & performance...

I notice a difference in weight when I lift a of Vossen Cv1 compared to my Volk GT7.
