nope, youll be fine. People that track their cars usually prefer a square set up because of better turn in predictability

Running 245/35/19's currently and ran 245/40/19's for couple of years w/o any problem on my RWD sedan. Btw you don't lose any performance, but you get the benefit of being able to rotate your tires. Staggering is not really necessary unless you are running multi-piece wheels with lips.

Why would you run same tires on all four if your wheels are staggered? I actually thought your wheels were not staggered. I guess you have some spares lying around. I would still purchase 2 more tires and run the appropriate sizes on the staggered wheels.

^+1.

If your wheels are staggered but the wider rear wheels should have wider tires or else the rear would be stretched and the front wont, and it's not going to look pretty.

That's true, although at least on the '07/08 sedan's, the stretch/bulge is already the case with the OEM's with the fronts running 225s and rears at 245s with an inch narrower front rim.

In any case, a square set-up is fine. I've run 245's and now 255's all-around for the past 51,000 miles with no issues.

Will be fine running a square set up. Helps reduce under steer also.

so can you rotate them if you run the square setup even though the front wheels are 8.5 and rears are 9?

You can only rotate em side to side unless you are willing to dismount and remount the tires. You wouldn't be able to rotate em like non-staggered setups because your wheels are still staggered.

Would love to see some pictures to see how the front would look compared to the rear.
