I suggest the blue stuff.

Loctite Threadlocker Blue 242 from Loctite Adhesives

Good luck with the re-assembly. Be careful with the torquing.

Ok, do I put it ON the bolt when I'm putting it back together?

Yes, on the bolt itself. Stuff works great, but your torque is the critical part. And check them regularly after you put them back on to make sure nothing comes loose. Wheels take a serious amount of abuse and constant vibration on road surfaces is not your friend. Drive it for a day and check them. Then a couple of days and check again. Then a month later. Check them every 3 months after that regularly.

sorry to hear that man... I can just imagine.

Ask TomieG what he used to improvise.... he mentioned he broke a bolt too.

I was going to do it with a friend, but probably not anymore.

Don't want to risk trashing a $4K set of wheels just for stupid a$$ bolts.

Good luck man.

Well.... idk . I need to get a bolt. I would recommend just hand tightening them. Don't trust any torque wrenches unless it's digital.

I'm seriously so ******* pissed off right now, I think I'm taking the bus to school cause I'm done ****ing driving that POS mazda.

At first i started out with 23lbs of torque...worked fine for 3 wheels.

But then on the last wheel i broke 2 bolts in a row & dropped it down to 13lbs...

But like i said, be careful to not break any because Mackin/Volk does not sell them separately.

Do you have any advice where I can get them separately?
