Dealership is the enemy!

They never run a clean show. They must be the most publicaly hated consumer retail sector in the world

Thanks everyone.

Yea, you gotta live and learn though I guess.. I'm not to pissed off though because I can just have it powdercoated to new again so it's okay.

I agree, dealers do suck a lot, but ever since my other incident with these wheels at a shop called USA Wheels in Fairfield, NJ, it's hard for me to trust shops that even specialize in powdercoating/mounting/balancing and all that ****. When you finally find someone good, you should definitely stick with them.

name the dealer you went to so others can be cautious when they drop off their car at that place.

I remember a very long time ago, I took a set of 4 brand new OEM alloys to get my tires transferred over on a Mustang LX. Instead of the steel/wheel covers I wanted alloys.

I went to Sears. Bad mistake but I was a wee lad at that point.

They managed to scrape the clearcoat around the lip of all 4 of them, to the point bare aluminum was showing. I had even shown them to the shop manager before install and he told me they used a 'touchless' machine and it would be no problem.

I spent the next 2 weeks tracking down another brand new set for Sears to pay for and install by the manager. They were veeeryy careful that time, turns out the first time it was a new hire with just a few weeks on the job.

Sears FTL.
