G37s Needs tires

First let me say that I used the search feature on the site and ready every post, three pages of them, and did not find exactly what I was looking for, so if anyone can help me I would be grateful.

My car is an 08, 6MT if it matters, I don't drive very aggressively and tire life is more important to me that extreme performance. I have the stock 19" rims and stock suspension

1. Can I, by going with w/ a slightly different size (that would fit) find a good tire at a cheaper price?

2. Can you install the same size front and back?

3. Based on the threads I read, it looks like everyone is getting tires from Tirerack. Is there anywhere else I should check?

1. Yes, there is no problem with going with a slightly different size tire but it may affect the speedometer due to smaller or larger tire.
2. Yes, you can install the same size all around but due to the staggered rims the angle of the tires would look slightly different, but not by much since there's only a .5" difference in rim sizes.
3. Tirerack is a proud sponsor on this forum and have been extremely helpful and reliable for all of our tire needs.

I called Tirerack. They had one option in a stock sized, all weather tire. It was around $900 shipped. Not too bad, but it was a Hanook tire, and I am not familiar with them.

I am still looking for information on slightly different sizes that might allow me more options, does anyone have any suggestions?

You can also check ETD. My local ETD is also a Tirerack approved installer.

What size can you get the GY Eagles in? My local tire store told me that Goodyear and Michelin don't make a tire for this car.

michelin makes PS2's that fit our car. Whoever told you they do not needs to get a new job. You think of going a bit bigger/wider. like 275 rear and 245 front?

Common size alternate is 245/40-19 and 275/35-19 which will fit fine. There's plenty of good options in that combo that will work well. Feel free to call me direct and we can chat about a few.

I really like the DWS...had them on my last car...my only complaint (though minor) was that the sidewalls were just slightly too soft

just remembered that you are running fairly low profile so the sidewalls might not be too bad...how are they handling on yours?
