which tire should i need to get?

i have bridgestone potenza re050a which is stock tires. now it's time to change my tires so i'm looking for new tires. I want to stay with stock size 225/45/19 245/40/19. it doesn't look like there are many choices on stock size. i saw hankook v12 and potenza re050a. i want to put yokohama, continental, michelin or other company not hankook or bridgestone.
also i'm thinking about 235/45/19 255/40/19 what do you guys think?

I'd search on the v12 if I were you...lots of support on this board an others for that tire.

And you'd be fine with those alternate sizes.

Not a lot to choose from, but the V12's would be a great choice. May also want to check out the B-Stone RE760.

The Pole Position Potenzas are a great upgrade over the stock re050as and they have been rated well. I know a lot of people have been going with the Continental DW Dry/Wet tire on the G35 forum and they have been running great while being a great cost alternative to the more expensive pole positions and ps2s and giving a better feel than the v12 hankooks (they have some softer sidewall issues that could be an issue depending on your style of driving). But bumping up a couple sizes wont be too bad and will give you a bit better handling. But thats just my thought lol, the stock re050as were never great imo. But check out the DWs and pole positions. Just make sure you know whether your getting a directional or asymmetrical tire...some can be flipped side to side and some cant, so keep an eye out on that too!
