Altho 255 with 10.5 is lil bit of a stretch, you still have wider tires then stock 225 / 245 .
So you shouldn't have any slipping problem.

Have the same problem moving to Hankook Ventus althought I did also moved from Toyo T1R 285's to Ventus 275's but I doubt that's the difference. Thing is my Toyo's practically NEVER slipped even in winter.. I slip light all the time now on the kooks. I'm hoping this gets better in summer, either way I will definately be going back to Toyo's on my next set.

I got a 4 wheel alignment today and it's improved dramatically. It still breaks loose, but nowhere near the way they used to.

Thanks for the input! Might as well keep it going since we've got some good info here.

I was thinking the same when I moved from the stock Bridgestone tires to the Hankooks on my CV1s. I swore by the Nitto NeoGen tires I had on my Jaguar, and I think I may go back to those on the next set.

Bad thing is, I'm probably stuck with this set for a while. The G isn't driven daily, and I just put on these wheels in Summer 2010.
