Front rubbing with 245/35/20 23 OFFSET?

I just had my front tires changed out from a 255/30/20 to a 245/35/20 and added 15MM spacers to my 38 offset Vossen 085 wheels to get me to a 23 offset, but for some reason I'm scuffing on dips in the road. I know people have run this setup with a 25 offset and also with a 20 offset with a 235/30/20 tire w/o rubbing/scuffing. I didn't think 2MM difference would make this much of a difference but it does.

I just got under the car about an hour ago and noticed that I'm rubbing on some little fender bracket. I had my rear brackets cut and shaved down so that I could fit my 275/30/20 with 30 offset but I'm wondering if anyone has ever shaved down the front fender brackets?

I spend the past hour shaving it down with a file (PITA) and will test it out tomorrow (I only did one side as a test for now). But I'm curious if any others have tried shaving this bracket down, it's the one in the middle of the top of the fender that appears to be causing the rub/scuff.

The setup looks pretty sick, and it's very flush to go along with my rear setup, I am going to figure out a way to make this work one way or the other.

Sorry no pics yet but I'm tired and too lazy right now to upload any, but I was able to def flatten out that bracket a bit, (approx. a credit card of thickness removed) and could go more if needed, really wondering if anyone else has tried this to make a close fit like this work?
