"Wheel Flex" Says the Dealer

Took my 2010 S coupe in and noted a creaking noise, rotational on the front driver wheel. Its when I turn hard at parking lots speeds. We did circles in the parking lot at the dealer and it did it on both sides. Tech said it was "wheel flex" . . . BS?

Tell him that this is not a tricycle wheel with spokes! Wheel flex maybe on that but not on your rim... I smell BS!

PS: also you shouldn't cut your wheel all the way. Just to the end but not all the way. Supposedly bad for it.

haha wheel flex? if you do go back to that same dealership, ask if other coupes have this same issue since the answer should clearly be no lol. if i were you, i would go to a different dealership entirely since i wouldn't trust that dealership working on my car anymore.

The issue is that all the dealerships here are owned by the same group. This one is the newest location so they are hurting I'm sure and not looking to tie up hours to chase issues. I called BS and still took the car since I missed my coupe, but I will be bringing it back after the holidays.

I would expect nothing less from an Infinity tech. They know speakers. But I take my G37 to an Infiniti dealer. Seriously.

Tell him that you want new wheels that don't flex.

If he tells you all wheels flex, then ask him to show you how the cars on the lot do the same thing your car is doing...
