Vossen Question

Im looking into some vossens for the future. Im curious how heavy (generally) they are. I dont want to take a hit to performance, but they are so damn sexy.

they are great wheels IMO! Performance doesn't really suffer, I say get what you want, if there is a loss of performance, you won't feel it.

sorry but adding approx 20% more weight per wheel does negatively affect performance. thats compared to the stock 19s.

thats pretty much the case with any aftermarket wheel, unless you're going with some light wheels and going to the track, but I don't see that point either, tracking a heavy a$$ car!

Well for one, we dont really have a "true" performance oriented vehicle. Our car is too damn heavy for that. Overall, who cares how much they weigh. Unless you plan modding your car for the track, then get what evers.

your logic is flawed. why even bother with mods like intake and exhaust then if our cars are just too heavy? surely everyone who does cant just be spending thousands of dollars for sound.

i have nothing against vossen, they're a quality wheel at an affordable price with excellent customer service from what ive seen. but to say performance doesnt suffer is just incorrect sorry.

as for tracking our cars, ive personally passed plenty of "faster" porsches and corvettes on the track with this heavy a$$ car.

thanks for all the input guys! i dont really plan on tracking my car, but i dont want to bog it down that much. I dont expect maybe an extra 30-50 pounds of rim to slow me down much though!
