When did it happen?

...that Momo wheels went down the tubes? They used to have some pretty sick wheels back in the day and the brand was strong & somewhat elite. Now their designs are blah, few, limited sizing, and pricing is reflective of a cheaper product. When & how did that happen?

As with most companys that make it big, they probably fell on hard times at one point or another and were bought out by an even larger company that then outsourced all their parts and labor to other countries that provide cheaper parts and labor costs. This happened with Garrett turbo's as well. They use to be the premier turbo, but after the death of the original owner, they were bought out by a larger company that then began getting and making there parts out of china and the quality of the product went down drastically. Many oem manufacturers that used Garrett turbo's in their vehicles have stopped using them and are even involved in multiple lawsuits. Unfortunately, this type of business practice happens all to often these days.
