I've heard good things about the Continental DWS's (all season, the DW's are summer only i believe). They have a 560 treadwear and are supposed to be relatively comfortable and quiet with great winter driveability and decent performance.

On the street, i have never really used the full potential of a summer only tire (have Pzero Rosso's on another sports car), and I have Michelin Pilot Sport Cups for autocross and track use. On the street, usually a good high performance all season tire is all you are going to need since they will generally last longer and still give you 75% of the performance you need. They will just be lacking when you are really on the edge, which for most 'normal' people should be rarely

FK452, T1R, Evo V12, NT555, or S. drive.

There are many choices. You just have to look into them.

I also personally like Sumitomo HTR-Z3.

On my previous car ('05 Acura TL) I went through Eagle F-1 in 14 months, Yoko S-Drives in 12 months and finally switched to Mich Pilot Sports with great results. They took a little bit to break in, but after that they were great on handling and minimal noise. Currently have the same OEM on my sedan. I don't expect them to last long though. I want to switch to 20's and will need new treads to go with. Good luck. You've got some great recommendations in your thread.
