ooh, that's not strange. When I had my VOLK GT30's installed they told me YOU WILL VOID THE WARRANTY IF YOU HAVE ANY AFTER MARKET PARTS INSTALLED ON YOUR CAR IF IT'S NOT FROM NISSAN or INFINITI!

I removed the wheels cause I already have a problem with one and I sent it back to Japan for replacement.

I don't know what dealers think!

My massage to them I don't care... I'll install what ever I want since they are original parts not any cheepo parts.

I can kinda understand that. They do tend to have increased vibration, which could damage the other suspension components.

That dealer is just practicing some CYA. That is a completely false statement if you read the warranty. It only voids warranty work on that specific part if they can show that aftermarket part is what caused the problem.

You have to do something pretty serious to void your entire warranty. The dealers that are saying that are just taking advantage of other people's ignorance in trying to cover their @sses and make less work for themselves.

Again, that's total BS and against the law.

Well, they probably can tell you whatever they want -- it's just against the law for them to actually require using OEM parts for your warranty to be valid.
