I am not sure if this has been discussed yet but here it goes. So I will soon need to replace my tires and as you may know the replacements can be pricey. I was wondering if anyone has replaced there OEMs with another type of tire. If I change to another tire, will it ride the same? any input would be great!
Yokohama S.drives are just as good as the OEM and are a lot more affordable. Lots of members opted for these as replacements and loved them. I have them on my 20's
First, I really like S Drives, and use them on other vehicles, so I am not trashing them.
But, the TireRack surveys of the S Drives and the Bridgestone Pole Positions (the latest version of 050, which are the stock tires) show the Pole Positions to be much better all the way around than the S Drives.
I still didnt but did crazy amounts of research.. for the fronts you can go from 225/45 to 245/40 no problem.. any wider would be pushing it.. rears, 275 seems to be the limit..
