It will be done this weekend unless something happens. All the parts and tools are sitting in my garage ready to go.

Initial report.... The Eibach springs went on without any major surprises. The rear camber arms are a different story, and I am still trying to figure them out.

The SPC camber arms have a slight bend in them, and I am told the 07-08 sedan has this same bend (although no one on G35driver.com has produced a picture). The stock camber arms on the 09 are strait (no bends). Here are some pics (stock first and SPC / Eibach second).

I am going to play around with it today, but if I can't get it figured out I am going to pull them off. I am not sure if they are way out of adjustment, or if the bend is throwing the rear suspension geometry off. Regardless, the rear toe settings is WAY off. Like not drivable out of alignment....

I will have some pics in the next couple of days. I am finishing this up today, and I am getting the windows tinted and my wheels mounted up tomorrow. Pics will follow.

Oh, I should add I talked to Eibach too. They of course said not to install either part, and that the 09 springs would be out in 2-3 weeks (so say 2 months). They could not tell me what the difference between the 08 and 09 was.

Here is another view of the SPC/Eibach rear camber arm:

The results are in.... I was able to get the Eibach springs installed, and I played around with the camber and toe setting to get my car at least drivable. I have an appointment on Friday at Cobb to get my alignment done. I will let everyone know how it turns out.

My review of the springs.... Good so far. I drove around for a few hours today, and there are no issues to report. Ride quality is pretty much OEM like. No major changes to report. The ride height is quite a bit different than it is on the 07-08 sedan with Eibachs. The front on my car sits lower than the rear (or the 07-08 sedan). It looks about like what the H&R's look like on the 07-08 sedans.

There is one thing to note about the install, and I am not sure if this is the same on the 07-08's. The springs do not start and stop in the same location. When I mounted the springs, I aligned them with the bottom perch (there is a groove in the bottom perch to place the beginning of the coil). This means the ending location of the coil at the top is different. This did not present any issues, but I can see that it would worry some people. There is enough slop in the upper rubber mounts, that it does not really matter (the rubber is forgiving enough to allow the coil to end at any point on the top mount).

I will post some better pics on Friday after I get an alignment and my new wheels installed.

AAMC has been running the Eibach's for some time with no issues. Here is a link: https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...modded-up.html

I got my alignment done at Cobb Tuning today, and I talked with them about the 07-08 Eibach springs and camber arms for their feedback. They said they found no issues when doing my alignment. The 07-08 Eibach (SPC) rear camber arms will work on the 09 sedan without issue. They obviously did not see any issues in running this setup. The rear alignment is right where we wanted it. The front of my 09 is a lot lower than it is on the 07-08 sedan.

Jran76: my apologies for not double-checking what I said about the stock 07-08 camber arms--they are straight as an arrow, just like yours. When I installed the SPC kit, I guess I didn't know which way to have the bend (up or down)--I thought I looked at the stock arm on the other side but I may have looked at the how2 for the previous gen. In any case, glad they aligned the car without any problems.

As far as your observation of the spring ends--yeah, I also found that they did not start and stop where the stock ones did. This posed somewhat of a problem for the fronts--I put the springs in the perches just like stock and the end of the strut was twisted when installing them.
