rims were curbed.. tires need replacing upgrade?
rims were curbed.. tires need replacing upgrade?
Hi Guys-
I can't believe I am documenting this... In all my years of car ownership.... I typically take very good care of my cars but this g37 has more dings/dints/scratches than all my cars put together. ( at least 10 other cars).
At any rate, My RIMS are scratched up pretty bad from a car wash a friend took it through ( don't ask..) and my tires are worn down ( 15k ) and need replaced.
Is there any combo packages out there someone could recommend? Or would it be cheaper to just get RIMS repaired and new tires installed?
Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks
mike

If you are looking for the cost efficient way out, get the rims repaired. Check with your dealer and they can typically recommend someone or note your location and someone here may know. Rim repair is normally 100-150 per wheel on average for our stockers. And if you need some new tires, check out Tire Rack and order from their and then have a local reputable shop install them.
Damn bro, I know how that feels. A week after I got my baby, I got curb checked at Arby's. I was so pissed, I just drove off. My heart melts everytime I look at my rims. But I think I'm just gonna powder coat them now. Good luck with tha repair.
