Damn 2x4's!

So i was driving to work yesterday at 4:30 in the morning and to my suprise theres a 2x4 on the freeway! im in the slow lane and theres a car to my left so theres nothing i could do... i had to run over it. it hit both wheels on the drivers side and i immediately get a tps light. i was only 1 exit from my work so i decide to keep going to work. i get out and my front tire looks half flat and rear looks okay. its dark so i cant really check it out too well.

when the sun came up i went outside to check out the damage. outside of the rims look fine, but when i look on the inside i see huuuuuge dents. at this point i start freaking out and pretty much feel really crappy the rest of the day. oh btw yesterday was my birthday aaand i just got new rims about a month ago. so yeah, i couldnt really concentrate at work and head straight to the tire shop after work.

when they took the rims off you can see huuge dents in both rims. the guy got an aluminum hammer and just pounded it back into place. it actually seemed like it worked and i was pretty relieved i didnt have to buy new rims. i went home with no problems thinking it was fixed.

sooo, this morning i start driving to work and i see that dreaded tps light again! argh... the whole day again i was worrying about it. took it back to the tire shop and they said they couldnt find any leaking and they put some sort of sealant on and now it seems okay. im still a little skeptical, but hopefully its okay now. what an emotional roller coster.

any of you guys on here go through this? i have a few friends that this has happened to and it sucks!

Nope, just have to avoid the boonie dogs not 2x4s on Guam. They won't just let a 2x4 lay on the ground here, someones got a use for it lol.

I think you bent your rims. Are you getting any sort of vibrations while driving?

no pictures of the damage, i was sort of in shock to do anything and i just wanted them fixed so he just went away and banged them back into shape.

get a high speed wheel balance to see if you really fuxed your wheel also go to the dealership to get the tpms but dont let them fix it if they are going to charge you unless your into the whole bending over and receiving it without lube. i mean if thats your bag then go all for it
